Procurement Intern
Danfoss Power Solutions has a great opportunity for a self-driven, results-oriented Supply Chain/Logistics, Procurement, Business Management or Engineering student to gain real-world experience. Students seeking variety, challenge, and an opportunity to build problem-solving and people skills will benefit from our internship. The candidate must be a strong communicator, self-starter, team player, and business professional.
Key
Responsibilities:
Assist Sourcing Project Managers with supplier follow-ups including quotes, PPAPs, POs, etc
Coordinate ramp up and ramp down of new projects
The first escalation point for supply and/or quality issues including documentation of supplier performance.
Support the Categories in monitoring forecast versus supplier capacities.
Support Operation Buyers on Trade Compliance documentation
Effective, proactive liaison with other relevant functions-departments to forecast and supply to Danfoss.
Active teamwork with the category teams to constantly improve processes, meet-exceed targets, share best practices and present one-uniform Danfoss approach internally and externally.

Major: Supply Chain & Logistics, Business Management, Procurement or Engineering
Location of Position: Ames, IA
