Market Communications Specialist
Global Sales & Marketing
Location: Ames, IA
We are seeking a Market Communications Specialist who will work closely with the entire global MarCom team to define, plan, and execute strategies and marketing plans. The impact and influence of the Market Communications Specialist's work will reach a global audience and you will work with local, regional and global colleagues on a daily basis.
The position will be responsible for the development of a wide range of marketing initiatives that speak to both internal and external audiences. This position will be viewed as a business partner for assigned business units, working with them to help increase awareness, market share and share of wallet.
Key
Responsibilities:
Develop, then oversee projects so key strategic messages are communicated effectively to target audiences, including the development and production of internal and external materials.
Through efficient content management, ensure that a consistent message is communicated across all media platforms.
Serves a consultative role within global marketing for the entire Danfoss organization.
Works with Product Marketing Managers (PMMs) in support of the business units, to develop and execute strategic marketing communications plans that align with Danfoss' strategies and goals.
Works with MarCom leadership to establish goals, budget and execution of global marketing / PR plans.
Qualifications:
Minimum of three years of relevant experience in marketing development and promotion; preferably in a business-to-business environment.
Sound project management with proven facilitation and communications skills.
Must be able to view the big picture, yet manage the details for all project planning and logistics from beginning to end.
Global and cultural openness and awareness while maintaining a team mind-set when working with colleagues and leadership at all levels.
