Process Technician
This position is responsible for the assembly process on an assembly cell from set-up to testing and/or the machining process in a machining cell. The Process Technician monitors & trouble shoots electrical & mechanical equipment used in the assembly/machining process to build hydrostatic pumps/motors and machine components.
Provide line support for the machining and/or assembly cell and is the next level of escalation after the cell coordinator for manufacturing issues related to safety and process quality.
Assist in the daily activities of implementing process changes and problem solving on the shop floor. Participates and potentially leads daily RCPS/DPP activities and projects.
Assists in the prove-out of new processes and process changes by gathering data, making observations about the process, and communicating ideas to improve results.
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum of a AA degree or equivalent from Technical School; and 6 months Technical experience, or ten years' experience in lieu of degree. Desire for 4 year technical degree and/or hands on experience.
Strong mechanical attitude and an understanding of manufacturing processes.
GD&T and strong working knowledge of quality tools.
Problem solving and computer skills, (word processing and spreadsheets).
Ability to read and understand hydraulic & electrical schematics and parts prints.
Familiarity with TPM and SMED techniques.
Knowledge of Excel & MS Office is a plus. Customer Service mindset and the ability to stay calm under pressure are desired traits. Excellent safety record and approach to behavioral based safety using proper PPE will be evaluated.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
