The Human Resources Bureau is seeking to add an Employee Relations Consultant to our engaged Employee Relations team.
The Employee Relations Team supports the DOT s HR programs by maintaining a positive, value added, and consultative relationship with employees and leaders of the organization.

What you ll do:
Serve as the first point of contact for advice and problem solving in the areas of employee relations support for employees and people leaders in the agency.
Interpret and develop policies/procedures related to employee relations.
Analyze workplace environment complaints and recommend appropriate resolutions.
Prepare presentations and provide training on key employee relations issues based on agency goals and HR strategy.
Serve as the agency coordinator for unemployment.

Minimum Qualification Requirements Applicants must meet at least one of the following minimum requirements to qualify for positions in this job classification:
Graduation from an accredited four-year college or university with a Bachelor's degree.
A combination of a total of four years of education and full-time experience in technical or professional human resources work, where thirty semester hours of accredited college or university course work equals one year of full-time experience.
Current, continuous experience in the state executive branch that includes three years of full-time work performing technical human resources work.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
