1K a year 13 days ago 13 days ago 13 days ago We are seeking a Seasonal Operations Assistant to support the management and maintenance team(s) during our seasonal apartment Turnover period and/or for a special project-based need.
This position will work closely with the team and vendors to ensure a smooth process and/or project completion according to ACC policies and procedures.
You will be the liaison between vendors and staff to include, but not limited to:
unit entry/oversight, collecting daily vendor assignment sheets, basic work order fulfillment, general unit make-ready etc.
Your ability to provide excellent customer service to residents and vendors and to support to our maintenance team will be key! Here's what a typical day may look like:
Accompany vendors on-site as instructed by community management and/or facilities management.
Assist in audits and tracking as instructed to include but not limited to:
key audits, damage walks, vendor completion lists, etc.
Assist in quality checks of completed work to ensure market ready status of the units or area of project.
During the unit Turnover process, assist in preparation of units/bedspaces for occupancy in accordance with company standards and expectations.
Responsible for understanding and following the American Campus key policy.
Assist with moving, unloading and storing supplies such as furniture or project supplies.
Perform duties and assists in completing daily duties as outlined in the American Campus Basic Operating Standards and Systems (BOSS) program.
Assists in keeping property grounds clean to include but not limited to:
general curb appeal including trash pick-up and disposal, vacuuming/sweeping/mopping common areas, maintain pool and amenity areas as needed, power washing, etc.
in line with the American Campus BOSS program.
May assist with final walks.
May assist with final touch ups including but not limited to:
minor cleaning, minor repairs, touch up paint, etc.
as instructed.
Participate in routine property or unit inspections.
Attend all mandatory employee staff meetings and company safety meetings/webinars.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise To be successful in this role, you should have:
Knowledge of general maintenance, repairs, and general make-ready of unit duties (trash out, cleaning and painting).
Ability to perform housekeeping and cleaning tasks and use small power/hand tools.
Ability to understand and follow MSDS rules for the handling and use of any chemicals.
Ability to drive a golf cart.
