7K a year 20 hours ago 20 hours ago 20 hours ago Position Summary Under Manager, Performance Improvement, supports activities that both drive and measure organizational performance improvement as reflected in the medical center as well as publicly reported data by focusing on process improvement and re-design utilizing Plan, Do, Check, Act (PDCA), and lean and Six Sigma principles.
Will support interdisciplinary improvement teams to provide ongoing and just-in-time training and education on the use of performance Improvement tools.
Position Responsibilities Unit Specific Position Responsibilities Support the department in developing tools of Lean and Six Sigma that are utilized by the leadership team Use a variety of tools (PDCA, Lean, Six Sigma) to identify opportunities and gaps to integrate into an overall Lean transformation plan.
Support the development, introduction and use of standard work for leaders and staff within the medical center.
Supports the ongoing development of a common language centered around performance improvement and Lean and Six Sigma methodologies.
Supports the Lean/Rapid Improvement Process within the medical center to engage employees; implements Lean tools to support improvements and facilitate on-going PDCA processes.
Assures that improvement activities are documented and reported within the organization and externally as appropriate.
Demonstrates problem solving, conflict management, and team building skills in order to ensure a productive work environment and achievement of goals.
Assist with gathering, monitoring, and reporting operational and clinical quality data and communicate results.
Analyze drivers of variances from period to period in order to ensure the integrity and accuracy of data collection.
Support the identification and analysis of data issues in support of validation and quality improvement processes.
Summarize output into tables and charts for further analysis and/or presentation.
Assist with the coordination of MGMC's activities related to publicly reported data, including JC, Centers for Medicare/Medicaid Services (CMS), Iowa HealthCare Collaborative (IHC), patient experience/satisfaction surveys, Malcolm Baldridge National Quality Award/Iowa Recognition for Performance Excellence and others as deemed necessary by the organization.
Assist in the development of policies and procedures related to methods of data collection, statistical analysis, and benchmarking.
Qualifications, Knowledge & Experience Required Qualifications (Including any licensure, certification, education):
Demonstrated and successful organizational and communication skills, creativity, problem-solving skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office products (MSWord, MSExcel, MSPowerPoint and MSOutlook) Demonstrated skill in presentation of material and making suggestions for change.
Organizational Requirements:
Maintain stroke education per regulatory requirements.
Preferred
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in statistics, business, healthcare administration, nursing or related field.
Certification(s) in Lean and/or Six Sigma.
Knowledge of data analysis and statistical software (SPC Excel, Tableau).
Knowledge of process mapping software (Microsoft Visio).

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
