The Director of Education (DE) is responsible for the educational quality of the programs within the Center.
The DE works with the Center Director in achieving the revenue, profitability and quality goals for the Center.

Love of helping kids achieve academic success At least 2 nights working from 4 pm - 8 pm - maybe more ABA or BS degree in Education.
The Director of Education must have a teaching certificate (can be expired).
Must be Sylvan corporate certified Director of Education within one year in the position.

Responsibilities:
Manages the progress of all students.
Performs regular Prescription Quality Reviews for each student, prepares and delivers parent & school conferences, makes necessary adjustments to student programs to ensure maximum growth, processes dis-enrollment of students exiting the program.
Conducts initial diagnostic assessments and designs programs for each individual student.
Conferences with parents on a regular basis, including monthly conferences and exit conferences.
Works with the Center Director to monitor that all parent conferences are completed monthly.
Communicates with schools regarding student programs, either in person or over the phone.
Manages student progress assessments.
Hires, trains, and implements staff motivation and development programs.
Schedules instructors according to the needs of the center.
Is the Lead Teacher, teaching when necessary.
Also assist Center Director in assigning and directing work, appraising performance, rewarding and disciplining teachers.
Other duties as assigned.
Supervisory Responsibilities Manages and supervises the Instructional staff.
Is responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and performance evaluations of these staff members to ensure the profitability and success of the Center.

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
