Responsibilities:
- Safely operate vehicles to transport passengers to their destinations - Follow all traffic laws and regulations while driving - Provide excellent customer service to passengers or clients - Assist passengers with boarding, disembarking, and securing their belongings - Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the vehicle - Perform routine inspections and maintenance on the vehicle to ensure its safe operation - Adhere to schedules and routes provided by dispatch or system navigation.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, passengers, or clients regarding any delays or changes in the schedule
Qualifications:
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record (no more then 2 traffic violation in 5 years) - Comfortable driving and/or occupational driving experience preferred not required.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to interact professionally with passengers or clients - Ability to handle heavy lifting and assist passengers with mobility devices if required (wheelchair vans have power ramps ) - Strong knowledge of traffic laws and regulations - Ability to navigate using maps or GPS systems Note:

Call the office and have dispatch attempt to call them and/or contact the provider to be 100 % sure that the member is not left behind and that everyone is on the same page.
