The Service Manager is responsible for all operations within the service department, from hiring and managing technicians and service advisors, to customer service.
Responsibilities Serving as a liaison between technicians and customers.
Take ownership of the customers experience by carrying out those additional assignments that allow the dealership to leave an impressionable experience with the customer.
Manage and Hire technicians and service advisors Interview and make new hires Distribute work between technicians Prioritize required services Ensure the daily inventory of technicians' time is consistently sold to service customers.
Answer technical questions about vehicle problems, warranties, services, and repairs.
Oversee administration of warranty claims as well as training and supervising of service and detail departments.
Set schedules and assigns tasks to service and detail department employees.
Reinforces company policies and adheres to company standards.
Encourages compliance with applicable laws and regulations including OHSA.
Maintain good working relationship with Stellantis and foster positive employee relations.
Provide concierge support for all owner inquiries, whether phone or in person, to assure the customer does not get mishandled.
Spend quality time building relationship with the customer.
Requirements Must have a minimum of 5 years of experience in an automotive dealership, with at least 3 years in a management or leadership role.
Technical Automotive Knowledge Demonstrated ability to manage others Organized and Friendly personality We are a locally owned and family business where we treat our customers like a member of our family.
