Are you an experienced Bookkeeper with a knack for detail-oriented tasks and a passion for numbers? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you.
We are seeking a dynamic, self-motivated, and highly organized individual to join our team.
This is a permanent position with a competitive compensation package, including benefits.
You will have the chance to work in a fast-paced environment, where you will play a crucial role in maintaining our financial records, including purchases, sales, receipts, and payments.
Responsibilities:
As a Bookkeeper, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks including but not limited to:
1.
Managing all aspects of day-to-day bookkeeping and accounting processes including but not limited to:
Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger entries, and Bank Reconciliations.
2.
Processing vendor invoices and disbursements, and maintaining accurate and complete financial, employee, and client records.
3.
Ensuring the accuracy of entries to ledger accounts and reconciles subsidiary ledger accounts to the general ledger.
4.
Preparing and submitting weekly/monthly reports and assisting in month-end reporting procedures.
5.
Managing company ledgers and ensuring the accuracy and compliance with established accounting standards and procedures.
6.
Processing payroll and maintaining employee records.
7.
Performing account reconciliations and generating financial reports.
8.
Liaising with other departments to ensure smooth and reliable operation of the company's ERP.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate for the role of Bookkeeper should possess the following
Qualifications:
1.
Proven bookkeeping experience with a minimum of 2 years in a similar role.
2.
Solid understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting payable/receivable principles.
3.
Proven ability to calculate, post, and manage accounting figures and financial records.
4.
High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
5.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Microsoft Excel, and experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 is a must.
6.
Experience with ERP systems, and understanding of how they integrate with other business functions.
7.
Experience in managing vendor statements and fixed assets.
8.
Excellent data entry skills along with a knack for numbers.
9.
Hands-on experience in operating spreadsheets and accounting software (we currently use Microsoft Dynamics 365).
10.
Customer service orientation and negotiation skills.
11.
High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
12.
Degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration is a plus.
