We are excited to welcome a Lean Development Trainer to our HNI Workplace Furnishings team! This position offers flexibility and autonomy, making it ideal for individuals seeking part-time or contract opportunities.
As a crucial member of our lean transformation efforts, you'll collaborate closely with the BPI team and leadership to drive our lean vision and strategy.
Location:
Remote w up to 50% travel What You Will Do:
Lead and participate in problem-solving events and workshops remotely to drive tangible business improvements.
Provide support for Hoshin Kanri training and deployment initiatives.
Mentor team members across all levels, from executive leaders to BPI Managers, in lean practices and tools.
Coach comprehensive BPI training materials and deliver immersive, hands-on training sessions while facilitating workshops in BPI methodology to effectively eliminate waste and promote continuous learning.
Act as a conduit for sharing best practices remotely throughout the organization, fostering collaboration and synergy across all business units.
What You Have:
A 4-year degree in engineering, business, or operations management.
Demonstrated proficiency in lean principles with a track record of exceptional performance.
Expertise in change management, lean leadership, RCI, and active participation in problem-solving events.
Skilled in leading and building cross-functional teams to achieve collective goals.
Proven success in transformational roles, showcasing the ability to drive impactful change.
Effective presentation skills coupled with the ability to influence and inspire others.
Previous lean training or coursework in operational improvement, with Silver or Gold BPI certification preferred.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
