Position Summary Process customer orders, invoices, and requests timely and accurately; ensure effective & appropriate customer credit management; maintain compliance with company accounting practices and procedures; assist with month end close process.
Responsibilities Customer Orders & Invoicing Enter customer orders into computer accounting software Assist customers with obtaining freight quotes and arrangements from third parties Generate invoices timely and accurately, including all relevant supporting documentation Regular review of customer records to ensure accuracy, including but not limited to open orders, contract balances, and invoices Collaborate with customers and internal parties to resolve requests and inquiries General Show an understanding of the importance of the company's mission statement in performing all aspects of their assigned duties Demonstrates a caring and helpful attitude when interacting with others May perform other duties as assigned Requirements:
Qualifications Associates degree in accounting preferred Strong knowledge of accounting processes and procedures including experience with computerized accounting systems Experience 2-5 years of relevant work experience Prior accounting experience preferred Knowledge and Skills Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) Understanding of the fundamentals of accounting Strong verbal and written communication with both internal and external parties Extreme attention to detail with effective analytical and problem-solving skills Work effectively in a team environment.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
