Resident Coordinator/Leasing Agent
Unique Apartment Homes Unique Apartment Homes Ames, IA Ames, IA Part-time Full-time Part-time Full-time $15 an hour $15 an hour Unique Apartment Homes is looking for a Resident Coordinator/Leasing Agent who is available 30-35 hours per week to assist us with helping prospective tenants through the leasing process.
Job Responsibilities (include but not limited to):
Administrative Open/Close the office for the day:
make sure everything is turned on, stocked, clean, and ready to go! Answer phones and help customers and/or direct calls to the appropriate person Check and answer all emails to our general email address as well as your own Check and answer voicemail messages, check the mail daily, check the drop box daily.
Check the calendar and send any notifications needed, pull any keys for vendors, and make sure the schedule stays on task Confirm all lease and corresponding paperwork are completed and done in a timely manner Consistently follow up with prospective tenants on leasing process and what still needs to be done Ensure all maintenance requests are put into our help desk as soon as possible Assist and complete any administrative projects Leasing Ensure properties are rented to the fullest capacity Be knowledgeable on marketing strategies from week to week and be able to relay those to prospective tenants Handle subleases and roommate changes as they come in Show available apartments to prospective tenants relaying correct information in a professional and friendly manner with a high motivation to sell.
Turnover Season Move In/Move Out (July 15th-August 31st) be available evenings and weekends Prepare move out instructions and distribute them accordingly Inspect apartments and relay items that need to be updated, repaired, cleaned, etc.
Get move in information ready for new tenants Final inspections of apartments
Qualifications:
Previous apartment management experience preferred AppFolio experience preferred Drivers License Required Reliable and responsible Ability to multi-task and be self-motivated Successfully pass a background test Be available for turnover July 15th - August 31st of any year
