McFarland Clinic is currently accepting applications for CMA/LPN for its Ames office. Candidates should be service-oriented, a team player, and be able to provide extraordinary care, every day to our patients.
Responsibilities include:
responsible for doing Rx refills, phone calls, scheduling referral appointments and tests, completing prior authorizations, general nursing duties. Outreach a couple days a month.Position comes with competitive clinic pay and valuable benefit package.

Education
- Graduate from an accredited program for Medical Assistants
- Graduate from an accredited school of nursing
Certification/License
- Certification from the American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA) or certification as a Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) from American Medical Technologists (AMT), NAHP, NCCT, NHA
- Possession of a State Practical Nurse license.
- Current Basic Life Support Certification for Health care providers.
- Mandatory Reporting of Dependent Adult and Child Abuse
