The College of Liberal Arts and Sciences department at Iowa State University is seeking applicants for a Manager Information Technology I. This position is primarily responsible for managing multiple teams of Information Technology (IT) Specialists who in turn are responsible for system administration, design, planning and maintenance of projects and support activities. The Manager Information Technology I has a college-wide scope of responsibility with a small number of university-wide projects. The actions of this person have long-term consequences with the responsibility of explaining and/or disseminating highly-complex information.
This position is expected to work closely with central ITS as well as to lead IT efforts for department chairs, research groups within departments, and IT Specialists. This position will also maintain IT operations in one department of the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences. For this the department the position will analyze and implement new software applications; provide assistance with developing specifications and requirements for new server hardware; and support widely used existing systems and respond to customer requests to solve problems with the system.
The successful candidate will possess the ability to interpret and apply complex technical documentation; thorough knowledge of computer applications, programming, hardware, and/or software; and effective interpersonal skills. Bachelor''s degree and four years of related experience OR Master''s degree and two years of related experienceEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
