We seek a dynamic, results-oriented Regional Category Manger who will help lead the organization in attaining world-class procurement services.
Regional Category Manager
Areas of Responsibilities
Category management in NAM for the Administration category in Danfoss Indirect Procurement, primarily focusing on procurement of services related to HR, Marketing and consulting.
Fulfillment of procurement targets on savings, supplier reduction and payment terms
Supplier management
Key tasks
Contribution to and execution of global category strategy in Administration, as well as sub-category strategies within e.g. HR, Marketing and Professional Services
Identify and drive projects for cost optimization and supplier consolidation
Lead negotiations of national/regional contracts
Cooperate and communicate with suppliers and internal stakeholders
Support divisional/business needs with strategic and tactical sourcing activities
Success Criteria's
Achieve Danfoss Procurement targets on savings, supplier consolidation and payment terms
Implementation and deployment of global category strategy in NAM
Build relationship with key stakeholders across divisions and corporate functions in the region
Job Qualifications
Bachelor or Master Degree in Business, Management, Engineering, or equivalent
E.g. Supplementary training in negotiation, project management, communication etc.
Min 3 years of procurement experience working with negotiations, supplier relationships, etc
Experience with procurement of HR, marketing, consultancy services or indirect procurement in general is a 'plus' but not a requirement
Project management experience
Stakeholder management and communication
Experience from international/global company
Change management
Proficient in Excel and MS Office
Essential personal characteristics
Self-driven and energetic
Ability to work in cross-functional teams
Goal oriented
Analytical
Ability to create relationships with internal stakeholders across multiple functions (HR, Marketing, R&D, etc)
Able to communicate with and challenge stakeholders on targets, suppliers, etc.
