Global Category Manager

Danfoss Procurement is responsible for strategic and tactical sourcing activities towards our suppliers. For the Indirect category we are looking for a Global Category Manager, responsible for category strategy and contractual compliance, supplier negotiations, risk management and cost down projects. The position is preferable located in Ames, IA .
Areas of
Responsibilities:
Identify and orchestrate implementation of global and regional savings programs.
Drive change management for indirect categories across the Danfoss group
Participate in developing and implementing category strategies
Deliver savings and process efficiencies through execution of projects and negotiations with suppliers
Job
Qualifications:
Bachelor or Master Degree in Business, Management, Engineering, or equivalent Experienced and strong negotiator with proven achievements
Experience from indirect procurement areas and/or category management in international company
Analytical approach and working both independently and in cross-functional teams
Proactivness and easy communication with many stakeholders regionally
Success and goal oriented
Fluent English
