### What You'll Do:
We want you to bring your experience administering Linux-based production systems into an energetic, fun environment where the work you do makes a difference. On a daily basis you will:
Engage in critical daily monitoring and maintenance of core Linux- and Windows-based production systems.
Maintain systems by ensuring that services are up to date and operating at peak efficiency
Identify and resolve operating system and application issues
Ensure the security and integrity of systems, networks and data
Work with services and technologies you probably have never dealt with before
### What You'll Need:
2
years experience Ubuntu/Debian server administration experience
Hands-on software and hardware troubleshooting experience
Experience supporting and managing modern database management systems
Experience running Apache Kafka and Apache Cassandra
Experience documenting and maintaining configuration and process information
Track record of technical configuration, process, and change documentation
Somebody who enjoys free soda, freshly-squeezed orange juice, and Starbucks coffees
### Bonus Points:
B.S./M.S. in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or a related field
Application support experience with SaaS environments and cloud-based deployment and integrations.
Experience with any or all of the following: Amazon Web Services, Google Appengine, Google Compute Engine
Experience working in an Agile development environment
Experience working with a geographically distributed team
