Danfoss Power Solutions Global Procurement is seeking an Operational Buyer to support Hydrostatics and Work Function in Ames.
Key
Responsibilities:
Daily support of purchasing activities affecting operational performance and efficiency
Supplier performance management
The first escalation point for quality and/or supply issues
Quality claim organization and administration
Pricing management
Vendor and material master maintenance
Change management and PPAP activities
Capacity management
Active teamwork with other functions/departments to constantly improve processes, meet-exceed targets, share best practices and present one-uniform Danfoss PS approach internally and externally
Qualifications:
B.A. in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, Engineering
3-5 years of experience in Purchasing
SAP knowledge
Microsoft office proficiency
Strong problem solving skills
Strong communication skills
Very good organizational skills
Location of position: Ames, IowaEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
