Strategic Procurement Team Leader - North America
The NA strategic procurement team leader is responsible for locating and maintaining the best sources of supply for the components, materials and services a company needs, considering all aspects of the relationship with suppliers, including quality, value and the ability to respond quickly to changing supply requirements. In this position, he refers directly to Turolla Global Procurement Manager


The Strategic Procurement Team Leader is in charge to:
Source and purchase goods and services for the company according to its available budget for each department, including sourcing and ordering raw materials on a tender basis. Other not so commonly expenditures in their scope may include consultancy, marketing, information technology, facilities, logistics, or human resource.
Research for new suppliers
Review tenders
Negotiate with suppliers to pursue savings, quality and best delivery and payment conditions
Ensures delivery schedules are met.
Finance expertize to manage budgets minimizing spending costs.
Forecasts, plans, and correctly assess purchasing needs.
Network and negotiate with suppliers, to ensure price adjustments and access to retail costs.
Prepares reports and report out results and data to procurement team and business team

Trainings or Master in Logistics, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management or Purchasing
IT systems and SAP knowledge

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
