Essential Job Functions:
Analyzes and troubleshoots production issues that arise in the Electronic Components Department. Isolates the issue to the board level
Analyze and troubleshoot production issues that arise with production test software.
Documents and tracks quality issues.
Assists in the development of test fixtures and testing software.
Owns the DMR(Discrepant Material Reporting) process for products that are assembled in the electronics department.
Participates in the weekly quality meetings for the electronic department.
Verifies production test on new software releases.
Various duties as assigned.
- Ability to troubleshoot electronic equipment at the circuit board level
Ability to read and understand electrical schematics
Must have a working knowledge of electrical test equipment
Must possess, or be willing, to obtain solder certification
Must possess strong communication skills, both oral and written, and have the ability to work with all levels of company personnel
Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and procedures
Must understand the importance of ESD safety regulations and work within these guidelines
Must have the ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand up to 8 hours a day
Basic understanding of software troubleshooting
Minimum Education Required:
Associates Degree in Electronic repair and or equivalent experience
Minimum Experience Required:
2 years of troubleshooting and repairing electronic components
