DBS Leader - Hach, Ames, IA

Purpose of Position:
Provide overall leadership to develop the Danaher Business System (DBS) culture throughout the business.
Essential Functions:
Assist in achieving Policy Deployment (PD) and Strategic Plan objectives
Participates in monthly PD reviews
Promotes and facilitates DBS and Danaher Design System (DDS) tools
Provides formal and informal DBS training and coaching
Communicates and drives "Best Practices" across the business and facilitates Danaher leadership benchmarking sessions
Develops staff in DBS culture to meet business performance criteria
Ensures that Kaizen events are productive

Education, Background and Skill Requirements
Excellent communication and facilitation skills
Familiarity with New Product Introductions (NPI)
College Degree - advanced degree desired
Exposure to and participation in a variety of training environments preferred
Familiarity with various manufacturing processes
Good writing, administrative and computer skills (word processing, graphics, spreadsheet, etc.)
Demonstrated proficiency in time and project management

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
