LSI seeks a full-time Site Team Leader to work in our Services for People with Disabilities program in Ames.
Openings for 1st shift (6:30am-2:30pm) and 2nd shift (2:30-10:30pm).
This is a great opportunity to gain leadership skills and experience to continue to advance in the human service field.
DUTIES
The Site Team Leader position is specific to 24 hour Daily SCL sites for adults with intellectual disabilities and chronic mental illness. The Site Team Leader works directly with adults to provide support, assistance, and instruction in areas that facilitate personal growth and independence. The Site Team Leader's schedule consists of direct care hours, as well as administrative duties (indirect time). They serve as a ready resource and partner for Daily Direct Support Professionals working at the site; respond to questions, including but not limited to, programming, documentation, trainings, scheduling, etc.
The position requires the ability to maintain schedule flexibility, and includes an On-Call rotation which requires the Site Team Leader to remain in the vicinity of the service area.
QUALIFICATIONS
Qualified applicants will have one of the following:
For STL 1: One year experience in human services related field; OR
FOR STL 2: A Bachelors Degree (BA/BS) in human services, education or human services related field; OR
An Associate's Degree with two years of human services related experience; OR
Four years of human services related experience
This position requires a valid driver's license, auto insurance, a good driving record and the ability to pass an extensive background check including checks of the Dependent Adult and Child Abuse registries, Sex Offender registry and a criminal history check.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
