Due to growth, Kinzler is adding a Department Manager role that will oversee the Fireproofing and levelrock departments.This includes but is not limited to quality control, safety & compliance, project management, and overall efficiency and production of the batting department. Other duties include:
+ Lead, manage and hold crew accountable for work. Educate crews on insulation techniques of Kinzler products.
+ Be the point of contact for the General Contractor on the job site. Assist in the planning and project management on a daily basis. Ensure change orders are identified, documented and signed by the GC or its representative prior to any additional work being performed. Communicate any change orders to the office and/or salesperson.
+ Monitor staffing levels and recruit, hire, train, and discipline field crew personnel as needed.
+ Review employee timesheets & workorders daily for accuracy of hours and inventory levels. Identify and coach employees on errors, inventory variances, or other concerns. Correct any punch in/out errors.
+ Perform safety & quality inspections of jobsites and ensure crews use proper safety procedures throughout each day.Know, teach and enforce product specific use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) if and when hazardous chemicals are present.
+ Ensure field crews use accurate inventory practices.
+ Complete quarterly performance reviews of staff and compensation reviews annually.Further develop emerging personnel through career development training.
Required skills, experience and talents:
+ High School Diploma or GED.
+ Five years of construction or industry experience and 2 years of supervisory experience.
+ Ability to operate company forklift and maintain forklift certification.
+ Must have a clean driving record and possess the ability to obtain CDL
+ OSHA 10 certified
+ Must possess basic computer skills

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
