Travel Sales Professional

World Travel Holdings is seeking Travel Sales Professionals who will be responsible for maximizing revenue and profitability by successfully building/maintaining client relationships and closing sales that generate repeat business and referrals. Travel Sales Professionals must achieve and sustain performance measures while exhibiting professionalism, business acumen and delivering a remarkable experience to our customers.

Adhere to our Customer Connection Sales and Service methodology to ensure customers receive a remarkable experience
Build new customer relationships by taking 1-2 inbound calls per hour
Be the "go to" Travel Agent your customers need by providing expert travel recommendations and conducting necessary follow-up that meets company expectations
Accurately book and confirm vacation reservations in a timely manner
Consistently meet or exceed assigned sales goals and maintain productivity standards by executing sales strategies and call prioritization
Be engaged in team meetings and/or training sessions to build your knowledge base and awareness of company initiatives
What should you expect?
Schedule: Your schedule will change approximately every 12 weeks and it will include nights, weekends and holidays. You must be available to work full-time (35-45 hours/week) between the hours of 8am EST and 1am EST.
Tech Savvy: You will have multiple computer screens open at the same, instant messages popping up, and emails coming through all while navigating through several systems and maintaining an engaged conversation with our customer.
Pay: Our compensation plan rewards great performance. You are guaranteed an hourly base pay or booking incentive, whichever is greater.
Training: Must complete and pass 6 weeks of training, as well as, complete on-going training modules to improve product knowledge.
Work From Home: It's convenient, but it doesn't work for everyone. You must be disciplined and enjoy working independently. You'll need a space free of distractions with a stable phone and internet connectivity (minimum Internet speeds of 2.0 Mbps upload and 5 Mbps download) in order to assist our customers. Equipment: We'll provide you with a phone and the necessary computer equipment.
Environment: Expect to move fast, adapt to changes, and work under pressure to meet deadlines. You can also expect a team of professionals who are available to help you navigate and grow.

Experience Level: Minimum of one year sales and service experience with proven ability to build customer relationships in a customer-facing environment and/or commissioned based position.
Sales and Service: Assertive closing skills to overcome objections and drive sales, and ability to delight customers while creating a remarkable experience.
Availability: Be available to complete the 6 week training program and be prepared to work full-time (35-45 hours/week) between the hours of 8am EST and 1am EST, including nights, weekends and holidays. Your schedule will change approximately every 12 weeks within our shift bid process.
Reliability: Proven attendance track record of reliability and punctuality
Communication: Amazing phone presence and ability to communicate through all mediums (verbal, listening, written) in order to win customers over quickly and sell them their dream vacations.
Passion: Project a positive attitude and enthusiasm for travel; after all, we're selling fun!
Time-management: Prioritize, stay on top of key tasks and ask for help when needed.
Tech Savvy: Strong typing skills, internet navigation, instant messenger tools, and proficient with Outlook and Microsoft Office. Applicants should be comfortable and ready to adapt to new technology.
Receptive: Open to receive coaching feedback and apply learnings.Dexterity: Able to concentrate and sit or stand at a desk while viewing a computer screen repetitively and answering the phone for each scheduled shift.
Work From Home: Must be able to provide a designated space for a home office free of distractions, high speed internet connection (Minimum Internet speeds of 2.0 Mbps upload and 5 Mbps download) and a separate phone land line (not over the internet) dedicated to this position (see work at home page for more details). Please note this home office must not be in the same residence as another current World Travel Holdings at home employee.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
