This position provides support to Plant Operations in installing, repairing and maintaining Production equipment throughout the Plant. Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Troubleshooting electrical, hydraulics, pneumatics and mechanical systems to the faulty component.
Use PLC software to troubleshoot equipment and HMI (Allen Bradley and Siemens as well as others) including replacement, software installation and recommissioning.
Observe and test the operation of machinery and equipment to diagnose malfunctions, using volt meter, Megger and other test equipment.
Analyze test results, machine error messages, and information obtained from operators to diagnose equipment problems.
Repair and Maintain Fanuc/ABB Robotics and Mazak/Makino Machining Centers.
Familiar with fieldbuses (Profinet/Profibus/EIP/DeviceNet) to include extended I/O troubleshooting, replacing faulty modules and field components.
Install and maintain hydraulic circuits in Industrial equipment, including hoses, relief valves, proportional valves and other hydraulic components.
Repair and maintain the operating condition of industrial production equipment and CNC machinery.
Automation troubleshooting to include; A/C and DC Motors, Motor Starters and VFDs
Repair Inventory and Quality Control Systems such as Visual recognition, RF ID and dot matrix printer hardware.
Follow all Safety Rules, including PPE, NFPA-70, NEC and OSHA.
Requirements Knowledge and Skills
Requires high school diploma or equivalent, Associate's degree preferred.
2 years' hands-on experience in industrial maintenance, mechanical, hydraulic and electrical or electronic systems required.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints. Must be able to read and interpret electronic/ hydraulic drawings, schematics and engineering blueprints to determine problem root causes and implement corrective action
Ability to read precision measuring instruments such as Micrometers, Calipers, Indicators, Levels, and Lasers a plus.
Strong Computer skills are a plus
A Team player that's able to work overtime as needed and willing to learn.
