Experience:
courses equivalent to a major in microbiology, biology, chemistry, or basic medical science that included courses as shown in A above, plus appropriate experience or additional education. Experience:
Specialized experience is experience directly related to the position to be filled. GS-13:
Applicants must have one-year (52 weeks) of specialized experience (defined below) equivalent to at least the GS-12 grade level in the Federal Service. The specialized experience requirements for this position at the GS-13 level are:
Conceiving, planning and conducting independent research on antimicrobial resistance and complex microbial communities; or foodborne pathogens and antimicrobial resistance; presenting research results at scientific meetings; publishing independent research results in peer-reviewed journals related to antimicrobial resistance and complex microbial communities; or foodborne pathogens and antimicrobial resistance; and providing technical mentoring to other support staff and/or students. GS-14:
Applicants must have one-year (52 weeks) of specialized experience (defined below) equivalent to at least the GS-12 grade level in the Federal Service. The specialized experience requirements for this position at the GS-14 level are:
Conceiving, planning and conducting independent and collaborative research on antimicrobial resistance and complex microbial communities; or foodborne pathogens and antimicrobial resistance; experience as a project or team leader working on molecular ecology studies of animal intestinal microbiomes within an inter-disciplinary research team; publishing research results in peer reviewed journals related to antimicrobial resistance and complex microbial communities; or foodborne pathogens and antimicrobial resistance; and providing technical mentoring to others support staff, students and/or research associates. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
